Content Writing

Blogging
For more blogging, you can see my posts that were featured on the Kelley Business Blog. My senior year Marketing Strategy professor submitted a blog post I wrote for the class to the blog editor. He posted it and invited me to submit other contributions relating my retail experience to my marketing education any time I felt so inclined. He posted them as he had openings in their usual content.
Miscellaneous Projects
This was a really fun personal project. I created these decorations for my uncle's retirement party. I found the concept online, but wrote most of the slogans myself as they only had a few examples. Each little flag went in a bucket of candy (the candy name being incorporated in the phrase).
Narrative Writing
We were tasked with writing a short, light narrative nonfiction piece in my AP Literature & Composition class my senior year of high school. Even though it's older, I always liked this piece and it shows a lighter, fun side to my writing abilities.
For context: "The LC Current" was the name of the school news segment that played on at our school every morning with school-related info. At this time, the school was undergoing construction, leaving a shortage of ways to travel throughout it. Administration had also just announced that we would be able to walk outside to pass from one side of the building to the other.
Literary Analysis and Relation
This is a longer piece from my honors writing course in my earlier college days, incorporating one of the texts we had read and analyzed in class. It was one of several pieces I submitted as my final portfolio at the end of the class. I received an A on the portfolio and my professor asked if I would mind him using my portfolio as an example for future classes.
